Everybody tells you it will go fast but until they’re earth side you really underestimate just how quickly the time does go. I am in disbelief that he is 9 months old already, fast approaching 1. The upside for me is I can start thinking about his 1st birthday plans. Ha, who am I kidding? I was thinking about it months ago.
He is such a wee character these days and his cheeky personality is really coming through the older he gets. With parents like Reuben & I it was inevitable that he’d be a little rascal.
It gets a lot more fun from the 6-month mark in my opinion & experience as they start developing more skills and are far more interactive. They’re awake longer, they smile, they giggle and their reactions are just priceless.
I love being a mum, more so now than those early days because I was exhausted and still finding my way, my hormones were all over the place and I wasn’t able to really enjoy it. I was always so stressed and tired, never being able to relax.
I’m dealing with my post natal depression and medication has been a huge help for me. It’s not a long term solution but it’s helping the now.
This blog and the wee community we’ve created has been such a huge help, it’s nice to chat to other new mums and be able to discuss our struggles and of course our successes! I’ve met some amazing new people and worked alongside some equally amazing brands and small businesses.
Thanks to all who follow and continue to support me xx
Until next time!
